“FUSE” Leadership
Covenant
We, the Leadership of Colorado Community Church “FUSE”, young adult singles group, commit ourselves to the fulfillment of this covenant between one another and our Lord.
- Individual Spiritual Growth -
Recognizing that our effectiveness in ministry is directly related to our personal relationship with the Lord we will give this relationship our highest priority by spending time in the study of His Word, in regular prayer and meditation, in corporate worship and by personally sharing our faith with openness and sensitivity.
- Gracious Individual Behavior -
As we desire to be shown grace and respect by others, so we will demonstrate both.
We will focus intentionally on one another’s strengths and gifts, while offering
patience and forgiveness with weaknesses. We will respect confidentiality and speak truthfully and gently with one another. We will choose to believe the best about another’s words and actions and will seek opportunities to serve and build up each other. If we are wounded or offended, or have wounded someone else, we will be quick to seek and offer forgiveness. Furthermore, we commit to speak the truth in love to one another in areas of sin and weakness so that growth can occur as we spur each other on to Christ-likeness.
- Commitment to the Mission of the Church -
We affirm and commit ourselves to living out the values and the fulfillment of the mission of Colorado Community Church. We will support the leadership of CCC with our prayers and words of encouragement. We will strive to protect the peace, purity and unity of this mission through diligent communication, respectful and responsible use of resources and supportive relationships between base camps. We will honor those outside our immediate fellowship by supporting them, collectively and individually, with our prayers, friendship, time and giving that we may weave fabrics of friendship and grow fruit on another’s tree. Finally, we will do our work as unto the Lord, with our whole hearts…and not as unto men.
